MBIA jumps after deal to reinsure FGIC bonds (Reuters)
Reuters – Shares of MBIA Inc. jumped before the open on Thursday after the bond insurer agreed in a deal to reinsure $184 billion of municipal bonds backed by its rival FGIC Corp.
